WINTERVENTION

It came to my attention last night, how badly I have become obsessed with a few things in my life. (some of you might be there too) But it's spiraling out of control and since it's winter and I cant be outside bettering my skin tone, I have nothing better to do, So I decided to start a "wintervention" on myself yo. But first I wanted to share with you my current unhealthy obsessions because I am not ashamed of them, I really do love them but I need to cut back:

NUMBER 1: The Lovely Kardashians
Who doesn't love them? It doesn't matter what I'm reading, watching, or listening to. If it's about the Kardashians... I'm obsessed, totes. (More on these people later)

NUMBER 2: The "devilish" Diet Coke
At one point, I was almost drinking 3 a day, that's when it came to my attention this was out of control. Since my New Year's resolution to stop drinking diet coke didn't work, you'll be pleased to hear I did cut back.

NUMBER 3: Clinique Chubby Stick (I am obsessed, but nothing is going to change this fact)

Disregard the name, I know they sound disgusting... But if you don't have one, run out to the mall RIGHT NOW, and buy it. This is heaven in chubby stick form. If your a chap stick lover with a hint of color, this is for you.



This happens to be the very color I have.

>>So the list goes on... but this is a few for now. The chubby stick can stick around, but as for the other two, I really need to work on those. Especially after how EXCITED I got last night after  I finally got to watch "Kourtney & Kim Take New York".

I know I'm not alone in this sticky situation, what are you all obsessed with?

HOLY HOT DOGS...

To start off the day, I couldn't go without mentioning what happened to me last night. Not that it's really anything exciting, more disgusting... only because of how much I HATE... HATE, hot dogs.
Not only do I never want to know what their made out of.. lips & a$$ holes if you ask me, but they smell awful. Especially before they have been cooked.
>>So back to my story about last night, I open up the fridge to get something out of one of the drawers, and to my surprise, I plunge my hand right into a puddle of hot dog juice that has spilled out of the package *mortified look on my face* and scream "HOLY HOT DOGS" I immediately scramble for a towel, sanitizing wipe, ANYTHING, as if my finger has been cut off. I washed my hands probably 18 times last night and the smell wouldn't go away. sickening.

On that note, I get my computer back sometime this week! So I can really start going full throttle on this blogging thing, so bear with me while it's kinda boring (& yes I looked up whether it was bear, or bare)... EXCITED!

Very first post... ever.

So, here's the deal. I'm completely new to blogging and I have no idea what i'm doing, but guess what, WHO CARES. It's time I try something new and 9 times out of 10 I have a lot to say about the world around me.
A little bit about me?
-My name is Bethany Bushnell, if you haven't noticed.
-I'm 19 years old living the Seattle area all on my own, SCARY.
- I have no idea where my life is going and I'm coming to terms with that.
-I have a lot of opinions & thoughts... so I decided to blog about them, BRACE YOURSELF.

In creating my blog I had no idea what I wanted to put in my title, but I've always liked the term "Life in the fast lane"... so of course, I turned to my trusty friend google, and googled it.

... I was speechless when I came across their example for "Life in the fast lane"... its perfect. So I was sold. Not only do I love the actual fast lane, we're good friends... besides when slow people drive in the fast lane.
